  3. Williston Consulting is pleased to announce the
  4. release of WadAuth
  5. v1.30. This release adds some new features,
  6. enhances existing
  7. features, and fixes all known bugs.
  8. WadAuthor is a state-of-the-art editor for DOOM,
  9. DOOM II, HERETIC,
  10. HEXEN, and any other wadfile based game.  The
  11. following paragraphs
  12. highlight some of WadAuthor's capabilities.
  13. Windows, Windows, Windows
  14. -------------------------
  15. . A single 32-bit executables is supplied.  This
  16. single executable
  17. · under Windows 3.x, Windows95, and Windows/NT
  18. (Microsoft's Win32s
  19. · is required to run the 32-bit version under
  20. Windows 3.x).
  21. . WadAuthor takes advantage of the Windows
  22. environment to provide
  23. · direct point and click manipulation of all
  24. objects within a map.
  25. · Multiple selection, drag and drop, and other
  26. typical Windows
  27. · features are all supplied.  The interface just
  28. "feels right".
  29. . Full keyboard support is available for those
  30. users who simply do
  31. · not like the mouse.  Every command, and every
  32. operation can be
  33. · performed directly from the keyboard.
